The Loughshore Trail is a 113 mile cycle route around the shores of Lough Neagh, the biggest freshwater lake in the UK. Followed in either direction, the route consists mainly of virtually traffic-free minor roads and lanes with short stretches of off-road track taking in Antrim, Portadown, Toome, Lough Beg and Portglenone. The route has many attractions, including the 1000 year old Celtic high cross at Ardboe, the grounds of Clotworthy House and the railway viaduct at Randalstown, as well as, the many small beaches overlooking the vastness of the water.
