Whisky Live 2008

Whisky Live London 2008

Calling all whisky lovers - the whisky tasting event of the year is back! Whisky Live London 2008 is bringing the best whiskies from all over the world under one roof. This year's event happens on Friday 29 February and Saturday 1 March at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London's Westminster.

Whisky Live gives you the unique opportunity to sample the greatest whiskies in the world, whilst mingling with the producers and distillers, marketers and visitor centre staff, all under one roof. In addition to learning about the world of whisky, you'll have the opportunity to sample rare and sought after whiskies and meet the stars of the industry. You can also expect masterclasses, live entertainment, food and regular nose-offs.

Now in its 8th year, Whisky Live has become the world's premier whisky tasting show. The show is a great day out for whisky enthusiasts, but if you know nothing about whisky it's the perfect place to learn - the Whisky Live Masterclasses are a unique insight into the world of whisky and are tutored by master distillers and other leading whisky experts.

The Whisky Experiences are the education and entertainment zones. With some hands-on activities and a couple of drams, you'll learn about the diversity of Scotland's greatest exports.

There are lots of themed areas throughout the event: in Food and Whisky Combinations you'll learn which whiskies go with cheese, chocolate and coffee; on the Whisky Live stage there'll be live distiller debates, entertainment, competitions and demonstrations; and there are also 2 whisky lounges, a cocktail bar and a Beer Experience where you can enjoy Scotland's best beers.

You can buy 1 day, half day or double day entrance tickets for the event. Each ticket includes a number of vouchers that you can exchange for whisky samples, a Whisky Live show guide, tasting glass and food voucher. Alcohol will not be sold or supplied to anyone under the age of 18.
