Black Sheep Brewery
The Black Sheep Brewery Visitors Centre is the ideal place for a day or evening out. You can take a tour of the Brewery, have a meal in the Bistro and Baa...r and buy souvenirs from the Sheepy Shop.
The Visitors Centre is an ideal 'ewe-nique' venue for corporate entertaining, product launches, parties, weddings, etc., not to mention the many events that are being hosted throughout the year.
Tours
The 'Shepherded' brewery tours take approximately one hour and involve a fascinating trip around the traditional brew house and fermenting room. 'Ewe' will experience the brewing process, from the aroma and taste of English hops, malted barley and pure clear Dales water, through to the scientific process, then on to the end product, a glass of one of the award winning ales.
The tour includes a video presentation 'The Best of Real Yorkshire Ale' plus sampling of their ales in the Black Sheep Baa...r! The brewery can cater for group visits - pre booking is essential.
Daytime tours include half a pint sample of one of our ales in the Baa...r. The evening tours include two pints of our award wining ales, and a delicious hot supper of your choice.

The special Evening Shephered Tours include a shepherded brewery tour (lasting approximately one hour), two pints of any of the brewery's own ales, lagers, or two glasses of their house red or white wine, plus a supper dish.
