To celebrate its heritage in Ceramics British Ceramics Biennial takes place in October and November 2009. The ambitious programme combines unique ceramic showcases; expert lectures and presentations; guided gallery tours and opportunities to purchase pots from around the world.
Stoke-on-Trent has several outstanding garden attractions, including the most exciting garden and parkland restoration project in the UK, Trentham Estate. Visit the Italian gardens, the Shopping Village, the garden centre with its luxury lifestyle products or walk amongst 140 Barbary Macaques at the Trentham Monkey Forest.
