The Gardens and Arboretum continue to be developed. Phase 1 will open in June 2001 and contains a Winter Garden with extensive rockeries, a Japanese Garden and Himalayan and Chinese areas. Phase 2 has been started and will include a Korean area, a Scottish area and a St Andrew's Garden, in which the plants are mostly white/silver and blue to commemorate the Scottish national flag. We grow many of the botanical species plants that are planted out in the Gardens and surplus plants are available for sale.
